too much to ask for?My mind tries to escape the lonely world I live in Countless amounts of suffering and rejection I encounter Is it too much I ask for? To see the sun rise from beneath the crest of the earth Or to see the grass become greener as the seasons change Or to find a pot of promises at the end of the rainbow And to finally figure out that song the wind whispers to me on sad days What is this pain and agony that I must behold in this ever so weary world? Where have all my dreams vanished to? Warmly hidden beneath the blanket of a cloud? With another hopeless soul who needs guidance? Wiltoo much to ask for?
